Our story & mission

Build Digital Trust and Drive Revenue. We help Cyber, Fraud, Risk leaders quantify risk, unify defences, and turn cost centers into investment priorities.

The Uneven Ground of the Fraud War

Deepfakes and GenAI have shattered the barrier to entry for identity fraud. Today, fraudsters operate with an industrialized precision that traditional, rule-based controls simply cannot contain. This isn’t just a security gap; it is a collapse of trust at scale.

In this numbers game, it is becoming cheaper for fraudsters to attack and increasingly expensive for you to defend.

This creates a Cost Iceberg: while direct losses are visible, the massive hidden costs—P&L volatility, operational drag, talent burnout, and customer churn—are what truly erode your organization’s stability.

Built for the High-Stakes Reality

Headquartered in Alberta, Canada, Branched Flow Inc. was born from a singular insight: Cyber-fraud prevention should be a trust builder and a value driver, not a cost center.

Our founder, Joseph, was working on the front lines of cyber fraud defence at a major financial institution. He experienced firsthand the trust-building and value-enabling of cyber-fraud defence it has on the organization.

Quantifying risk is the foundation for building defences that can withstand AI-driven threats, even when siloed defences fail.

We pioneered a quantitative approach to risk, moving beyond “gut feelings” to standard frameworks, translating technical threats into the language of the boardroom: dollars and cents.

The Cyber-Fraud Trust Architecture™

Playing “whack-a-mole” with alerts won’t withstand the current onslaught. We architect a staged fortress. Our proprietary Cyber-Fraud Trust Architecture™ is a five-pillar system designed to turn security into a competitive advantage:
